Wild Child Organic Kitchen is a unique restaurant in Koh Samui where Thai cuisine meets Mediterranean inspiration in a lush elephant sanctuary setting. Created for guests who love authentic flavors, organic ingredients, and unforgettable surroundings.

Here, traditional Thai spices meet vibrant Mediterranean ingredients, creating a fresh and colorful fusion designed to delight the senses. Whether you join us for lunch, cocktails, dinner, or a special Thai Gastronomic Night — every moment is shaped by tropical gardens, warm island hospitality, and the peaceful rhythm of sanctuary life.

Elephant Sanctuary Presentation

In partnership with Samui Elephant Haven

Located within 25 rai of protected tropical landscape, directly opposite Wild Child Organic Kitchen, this peaceful sanctuary is home to rescued elephants cared for by Samui Elephant Haven.

Founded by Maew Suriya, Samui Elephant Haven rescues and protects elephants formerly exploited in trekking and entertainment industries, offering them a safe and ethical environment where they can live freely and naturally.

The elephants living here belong to and are cared for by Samui Elephant Haven, whose partnership with Wild Cottages reflects a shared commitment to ethical elephant welfare.

Meet the Elephants

Sombum

Rescued from trekking life, Sombum found freedom through Samui Elephant Haven and later gave birth to her son, Haven.

Haven

Born free in 2019 and the first calf born at Samui Elephant Haven, Haven has grown up surrounded by care, freedom and nature.

Together, Sombum and Haven represent a story of rescue, protection and hope.
